During this weeks tutorial I established the project objective and learning outcomes for this audio project. I also showed off some sketches I have for this audio project,moving forward for our next tutorial I agreed that I would start to add vocals to my sketches, so lee so I can get them ready to send out to artists for potential collaborations. I also agreed I would start carrying research for each producer I am basing my EP on.

For my second tutorial with Lee I discussed the idea of basing my project around the album of Yeezus by Kanye West. Lee suggested I look at the record label Def Jam and create an EP based around specific producers who work with artists signed to Def Jam. I thought this was a really good idea and I started to research what producers I would like to base my audio project of.

For my first tutorial myself and Lee sat down to discuss some potential ideas I have for my audio project one. I suggested the ideas of making beats, Lee explained he didn’t think there would be enough content to allow the substantial amount of academic research required for this project. Another idea I had was to make a series of tracks from different time eras of Hip-Hop, this idea was a bit more promising and I agreed I would carry out some research to see if this idea was viable.
